Dit is een bladverliezende struik die overal ter wereld voorkomt en geliefd is vanwege de prachtige klokvormige bloemen. Ze kunnen wel 10 cm in doorsnede zijn en hebben vaak een roze hartje met vlekken (macule) en fijne lijntjes. De kleuren variëren van wit, rood, roze, paars en violet.. Take a softwood cutting, approximately 6″ (15 cm) long from a healthy hibiscus shrub. Strip the leaves off apart from the top ones. Place the cutting in an appropriate rooting mix. Create a rooting mix for hibiscus plants by mixing equal parts of potting soil and perlite and putting it in a small pot.
